I'm really curious about how the author will handle this, as they've previously done really well, like how even their parents, who are by all means positive characters, act unfairly and wastefully due to being noble.

I don't think the parents are portrayed as positive characters? Their faults are very clearly displayed and Cain even looks back on how the original story went and that OG Cain's whole personality was warped due to his parents' favoritism towards Diana.

Yeah, I think I didn't properly convey what I meant. I don't think they're entirely positive, but they do love their children and aren't abusive to others, which is a low bar, but I think it shows how even these good nobles have bad views. What would be a shown as being a good dad in other mangas is here depicted as wasteful and bring spoiled

I'm curious about how the author will have the commoners react. Far too many works let end up writing Commoner Stupid and Bad, Noble Smart and Good.

Even when writing from a commoner's perspective, they tend to end up as a Noble because they deserved for being Good and Smart - different from the *rest of* the commoners. Very Oliver Twist of them, tbh.
