It's supposed to be comedic, and sometimes, maybe, probably, cute. Try to not put yourself on any of the characters' shoes and just read it as an omniscient observer.
It's a matter of preference for the reader ig, you can't really force yourself to change your feelings about a character
i’ve read/watched a few that have tsundere ml’s so i wouldn’t say i’m necessarily new to it, but i think this one gets to me more becuz of all the misunderstandings and how he acts becuz of it lol
