FR! I forgot about that part, but doesn't he like needs teammates to defeat that monster? he died fighting that while having teammates so now if he wants to survive this time, he needs a better plan, maybe even more teammates that he had before.
instead of finding good seeds that has already sprouted(A-S class) he is mingling with e class, bro, that's old school bullshit where e class turn out to be amazing but looked over. normally I am really into it but it doesn't fit in this scenario cuz they take a while for it to build up to the stage where they can take on everything.
in other books/manga/comics, the mc has time, normally, nothing that can cause the whole world to be history in less a year. they don't need to force growth and let it bloom naturally with the mc's push.
but in this story, time is not in his favor, with all hunters weaker then the older gen, its worst to try to train those growth was already slow or bad in the first place, and they might not even reach the height of those in a-s class in time. HE should be training those that are already strong, maybe make a bet with them and defeat them to have them become ur subordinate or student. that's the easiest method I can think of rn.

I don't understand anything anymore. like mc came back and he doesn't have long before that monster revived but he is going around in circles with 'I need my old weapons'> 'his old teammate has it but he can't get it cuz he wouldn't give it to him'>'have his granddaughter ask to give it to him'>'her not agreeing and he trying to find other ways'> to the beginning again
like, can't he at least try to get his weapon by finding a way to talk to him first. why did he have to tell her that he needs to get weapon from her grandpa? it would have a better chance then straight up telling ur motive.
if its not the way to go. just steal those weapons back. everyone gonna get killed if you don't train and get ur weapon back anyway.
this plot is just forcing mc talk to that damn granddaughter of his og teammate who went evil or some bullshit. why can't he meet them first before that? everything they care for Is gonna be gone if they don't aid in the situation of that monster coming back anyway. if they turn evil/bad. it just means they care about material/money/power a lot but if the place can't even have money uses anymore then what is there nothing to rule over others with.(as in being rich, having power over others in rank or similar things, etc) (╬￣皿￣)凸
this is just me ranting cuz I was into it until ch18 where the situation isn't going any better and mc just wasted time. cuz time is in the essence, we don't know when that monster will appear, he stuck in class and trouble finding him everyday (╥﹏╥)
