If my understanding is correct- society is already collapsing before the monsters appeared. There were pandemics, wars, starvation, and etc and it became more hell when the monsters came.
Humanity was already vulnerable when they came so just after few days, the world is already f up (￣∇￣")
so did the monsters just come out like 2 days ago or something, because I thought that at the beginning the monsters appeared and then after a little while society kind of collapsed.
