Agreed!! I feel like if they just sort themselves out and can acknowledge what happened and apologise they'll be able to finally feel comfortable without having to worry or stress about other things. And as a couple they'd be so much healthier and happier
My god no, fuck the ml, hes a fucking asshole thats had 400 chances, he absolutely doesn't need another one. She needs to heal and stay away from him forever, if they maybe had a brief scene where he apologies and then leaves her for good, that I can stand behind. Their relationship is toxic to its core, there's no just shaking hands and making up after everything he has done to her.
i need a whole arc of just Lily healing and maybe let ML heal too. if that happens, then I don't mind if they still end up together like maybe ML saves Lily after the Everetts (that eldest son is obsessed with her) find her. Really hope they get well enough to express themselves properly and understand each other before shit goes down again with her "oldest brother"
