What part did you not understand? Like gurl they are the main character and main lead of the story, the story revolve around them because it's BL and they should or would ended up together.

I understand girl, I ship Seth and Horus hard, but Seth and his wife were such a beautiful family and they loved each other dearly, it’s just hard to think all of that was taken away because one greedy bastard.
But alas it was just not meant to be, perhaps they would had been a time where they could had moved on from this together, but it’s too late now, it’s too much, and Seth is currently falling for someone else, someone by the end of it will probably love more then his dream of having a family.
It’s understandable to get stuck on what it was, but live in the past too long and you miss what it’s now.

I do want *past* Nephthys back, but not with Seth. She was a lot more likable back then. Still don't like them together, because of how Seth never ever picked up on sth being wrong with her, at least during the period *before* his craziness from the big reveal about Anubis' true origin... Later on, Seth's misunderstandings about her (like, that she wouldn't see him as a man if she heard he'd been raped) low-key bothered me. Seth seems able to communicate and understand *other* people (Isis included) lots more than he ever did Nepthys.

But just like how it works out in real world, many seemingly great couples separate for the same reason-they find someone new afterwards, whom they could trust their everything with and love dearly. Although it is an unfortunate event, it is true that their feelings for each other have died out long ago-the bond they currently hold is of their son, and nothing else(maybe some grudge or remorse too.) it’s realistic to some degree.
