LOL, no matter which version of the goddess of love (Egyptian, greek, roman) seems like she's always unlucky like that. Sailor Venus from "Sailor Moon" (same domain, same shitty luck) was based on Aphrodite (Greek version) and just like her she was unlucky in all her affairs (not mentioning Aphrodite was even married off to the allegedly "ugliest" god in Olympus).
