I saw on previous comments that the artist passed and why the series was on a long hiatus. I wonder how much of it is true or the artist has an injury that limits her art style.

Ah, the commenter I mentioned made a mistake and recently posted it was another artist. This one had a serious illness (as far as I am aware) and couldn't continue the series but stated they'd be back 2025 for S2. I believe due to their long break from drawling simplified her art style a bit but is the same artist! Just slowly recovering and maybe bring back their original art style with more time and practice.

I checked the credits under the title and compared it to the previous art credits, and the artist did change though? The artist isn’t the same one as the one who did the previous season
Hmm, now I am confused I wonder if anyone has sources to share what really happened to the artist...
I’m glad it’s back!! But am a little disappointed that the art style didn’t stay the same.. I miss the old artist- I hope she’s doing better now
