That's what I thought it was but got confused since he's selling people he has a ghost writer. I thought the whole point is that everyone thinks it's him writing ?

Its a little different here bc he just needs another writer to make his work legible since he has bad handwriting. he still comes up with his own paper, but everyone acknowledges that the handwriting isn’t his. maybe ghostwriting isnt the exact term for this, but maybe the translator thought there was not a short and direct way to translate it otherwise (?)
Ohhhhhhh I get it I had somehow mixed up that mc was the one with bad handwriting and the ghostwriting was helping his practice or smt like that hense my confusion. Thank you this will teach me not to skip read lol
