Oh really not shit, but a plot hole IS a plot hole. The reasoning behind the zombie virus is def not that or at least not as simple. That's why the author hasn't given the full explanation. And let me tell you a small secret but be careful and not spread it. Fiction is 98% of times based on our reality (ʘᗩʘ’)
A story to an Author is his craft. Something that he puts hours and hours in creating. Why do you think in comics the accidents that happen are in private labs by mad scientists? Because it gives a better explanation and removes a plot hole. This is a school biology lab. They take a lot of precautions cuz the school enforces them. It doesn't yet makes sense
Woops, i meant to downvote sorry nerd!
"joke" asside, yes, we need the viral cultures at certain temperatures or else they die or grow moldy and i understand that you like to know why things happen even in fiction, i get it trust me, it's what makes the world come alive after all.
But PERHAPS, you could wait, PERHAPS, every question raised by the plot doesn't need an immediate clear answer you ipad baby who developped adhd because tiktoks fucked your attention spam.
joke asside, AGAIN. the character themselves said they didn't know what happened, only that they heard it was something like that "they think", so the information you're mad about in the first place is so unprecise that we should only take out of it what we know is true, and that is that it all started in the biology building.
The rest of the informations as to why it happened will come in due time, it's actually quite nice writting to have a pnj give out vague weird infos to the MCs because it makes the reader wonder about the truth.
(and it makes the nerds cry out in pain, but your comment was really funny to read so thank you for being full of rage killian (i mean it))
We are literally agreeing, my point was that the reason given was not the answer and that the author didn't give it. And your head must totally be filled of shit if you think that the moment someone phrases smthg with A bit of aggressiveness that they are mad or rage full.
Your passive aggressiveness is leaking through your reply but to be honest it didn't seem like you even tried to hide it. So maybe I should play your game as well and act all thankful for stating something so obvious that everyone understood while I gave a bit of informations about science labs and materials which most people, surprisingly, aren't aware off. But, it's okay, sometimes people act the same way as you and think they are making a well explained point just because they are pointing the obvious.
Oh wait, now that I actually did read your reply I noticed what harsh exclaims you have made to me and to every person who actually decides to think a bit more without bringing everyone else down. Did your mom teach you this way of talking so she could bring your esteem down even in public? Or were you simply bullied when you were young?
Psa, just a recommendation from me outside of the argumentive topic. Maybe try and learn to write a bit better cuz when I first saw your reply I dropped out of boredom the moment I understood what the context of the whole essay that you wrote was. And stop trying to act like you know what is going on with everybody's life since you seem to not even understand the basics. I am a stem student so I spend a lot of my time studying even very uninteresting topics such as wave functions. So there are two cases, you are either very immature or you still haven't been met with real studying. Do better
No we are not agreeing. I do not wish to agree with the likes of you.
Now, i will grant you some mercy in light of the new arguments you bring forth, if you claim that in your first message you were discussing the arguments the PNJ was bringing up; then, while the message was phrased in a way that made it impossible to know you were talking about them, you wouldn't be wrong.
BUT. As i did not just take your first message into account but also your second and third one when replying to your first message, i could only deduce because of your tone and language that you were a bit... limitated (and very much enraged), and were wrongly calling bs on the story because you weren't able to sit back and enjoy the show.
And, if i may, (and i may) out of the both of us, you seem a little bit on edge, perhaps you should go out for a nice walk and take in the fresh air to feel better!
Now I cannot ignore the fact that you keep doubling down on the "actually" allegations, this is crazy, do you want the people here to read porn to thank you for giving them a "bit of informations about science labs and materials which most people, surprisingly, aren't aware off", you'd be a fool if you thought your nerdy act would be enough to give you some sort of credibility.
Yes you a stem student, i am very glad that you are furthering your education, seeing how it takes you two different messages to fully think and write down the extent of your conclusions.
(but then again, two people called you dumb today so... maybe there's some truth here...)
And by the way, i know they don't teach you how to write in stems, but since you brought up the subject, perhaps making a new paragraph when developing a new idea or topic could be a function you could use.
Cause all that writing in block is simply distasteful and quite painful to read, i hope you do not present your professors with the same level of writing.
I will now ignore that little part at the end of your second message where you try to be clever, because 1, i don't need to hide behind my major to impose my authority and 2, it's just adorable, plain adorable (once again i mean this honestly) and i don't want to bully you because of that.
(i mean, "even very uninteresting topics such as wave functions"?!!?? i'm in tears, how adorable is it that you worded it in that way, i'm pretty sure we're the same age, yet it's like i'm talking with a high schooler, it almost makes me want to pinch your cheeks)
But anyhoo, have a good evening kiddo
I had fun reading these comments because it’s such a wild point to argue about.
As an English major, I can say you guys are being silly. We accept that there’s a time loop, we accept that for what whatever reason the seme is the only one with memories and lasting injuries (scars), and we accept that the dead can come back to life, move by their own agency and not be effected by rigor mortis, hunger, or dehydration. HOWEVER we draw the line at someone messing up a temperature or light in a science lab. lol
I’m going with the theory that they’re somehow in a game or something, and since when did game origin stories make absolute sense?
I wanted to keep having fun but i was too silly/mean to killian and now look where it got me~_~
But for real, as much as i enjoy when worlds have a "physic" that works, i can overlook it being a bit wonky UNLIKE SOME PEOPLE HERE (okay for real i'll stop the online bullying.)
Interesting take though! i must say i'm not a fan of "they were in a game" stories, but that's purely personal / it would make sense, so why not!
No, it has to be geniune.
But to be honest my first answer was really like "who is this motherfucker who can't distinguish fiction and reality" only then after you answered did i drop the argument in favor of the silliness (at some point i even considered apologizing since you made sense but that's not how one makes enemies.
and hey they're "I must say
As a stem student I smell bullshit with the lab theory. You can't just mess with the temperature and for you to mess with it it's difficult asf. In labs we have really low temperature because most materials need it otherwise they go to trash. Tbh, I do not know about biology labs cuz I'm studying general physics, science and math subjects. But still it smells bs and if that's the reason then the idea fr came from the creator's ass
