I thought mc has enough of her ex when she asked her father to not bother with an apology and get compensation instead. She should be thinking about her own future and no her ex's. But seems like that's not going to happen. After all that realization about her past mistakes and breaking off her engagement, she seems to care about what her ex's life is like a bit much. In previous life she clung to him with her one-sided love and in this life she's doing the same with her one-sided hate. Seems like nothings going to change.
