I genuinely don't think the Crimson dragon was selfish. He wanted to leave the heavens, it was the other dragons who didn't want to let him go. He didn't make Zeno suffer, Yellow's love for Crimson had blinded him into using Zeno's body as a vessel. He sees it now. He knows he has cause Zeno much pain and is correcting the wrong he and his brothers have committed but returning them to humans instead of killing them. They needed to accept the fact that Crimson didn't want to be I the heavens anymore and they still don't. Only yellow dragon is trying to redeem himself.
Nah so Zeno really had the WORST fate. Forever stuck as a vassal for the yellow dragon because the yellow dragon lowkey didn’t want to return to heaven either. Then, the crimson dragon being selfish by falling for humans and essentially making Zeno suffer because he reminded crimson of the heavens he abandoned. I mean my WORD. Let the poor baby rest?!?! I’ll be so happy if he can just live as a normal human like the rest of them and everyone lives their lives and somehow, reconnect later (It seemed to me that they’d lose their memories or something since the gods said “this connection will soon be lost without the dragon oath”). so I will RIOT if Zeno ends up dying instead. Even though that’s what he “wanted” I think he just wanted a way to end the sick cycle of selfishness by the dragon gods
