I was thinking about when ML forced reverse guidning on him, but he was hurt before that so maybe there’s more to it
Remember how he said he couldn't let ML know he was an esper while he was in the red sea and looking at all the monsters ml devoured? I think that's the only reason he didn't win during the forced reverse guiding, cuz he is still trying to hide he is an expert from ml.
I was excited for MC to reveal his true power but he’s still weaker than ML… sorry that was so disappointing.
