Unfortunately, I don't think the manhwa will go all out in terms of the dark aspects of the novel. The debauchery and such that was happening in the Capital was already omitted in the earlier parts of the manhwa. Even the way Karas slices up the enemies were not brutally portrayed like what the novel described.
I know *sob sob*. And everyday I mourn what we could've had. BUT I'm still holding on to hope that it'll change when the later seasons are adapted. If they try to dismiss Karas' brutal actions to make him more likeable or appropriate I will commit seppuku to change the trajectory of their lives. That man is horrible and he deserves to be appreciated in all his brutal glory.
Reread the manhwa and it says that Truyde's son is a newborn?? Uh how are they going to adapt the whole Truyde's family-secret storyline? As a newborn, the son isn't old enough to consume that "super-secret black potion ingredient", so his punishment and story won't parallel Karas' own childhood... It's not like, pivotal to the storyline, but it kinda is to Truyde's story, right? Unfortunately my eye twitches when adaptations deviate (even if slightly) from the original in ways that I don't understand haha... But this manhwa has been good so far, so I'm only curious about their tweaks and how it'll add to the end.
