Saw some spoilers here too that based on the novel the MC will not end up with 2nd ML.
I *think* this is the one I saw the comment on, but they said that MC never really falls in love with ML, just kind of settles for that life with him. Which would be really sad.

Guys can someone tell me if they end up together cuz I remember reading a comment a while back saying that these two try to run aways like twice or smtg and the emperor catch them both times and in the end the imae ends up with the emperor
