As of now, the queen has all the upper hand and the power... If the King ever strike, the queen might do something to what the King holds dearly (as of now), for instance the princes. He can divorce her only it might take sometime or even twists in turns. But we'll see... The King might as well plot something just to strip her off her position but what's the thrill on that, if it was that easy to get rid of evil queen right??...
And I also agree with you, she's definitely though she be doing creepy smiles and unhinged expressions that makes you lose appetite.

The king is so weak omg doesn't he have like top authority? Why is he letting the queen have her way. Couldn't he just divorce her? Bring in a new queen? Strip her away from her title as a queen? Cause if I remember correctly she is only queen because she married him. Also I'm sick and tired of seeing her unhinged face. It's pretty but what's the point if all she is going to do is look unhinged in every single panel.
