i just don’t get why everyone just blames daon ??? when it’s clearly not his fault anything that happens to him, bc literally every single thing around his life revolved around studying to work and finally being capable by himself.
but no, these guys couldn’t leave him alone. so i felt really frustrated, although not necessarily at him, also i think that most people always expect the story and mc to be perfect; i liked that it had ups and downs just like irl lol. it feels kinda weird to read a neutral comment in here and that also supports him（￣へ￣）

I love to spoil things so I read some comments before and now that I finished it, I… Daon wasn’t weak nor indecisive. He just deeply cared for both Jaemin and Soohyun, and he did the things he did to try to appease everyone especially his benefactor who he feels like he owes so much to. He was also not aware that a lot of what he was told by both guys were lies. On top of that, his family’s finances were always a huge weight on his shoulders. Ngl every time I saw the sister appear I cringed. Like Jfc I know you’re suffering too :( but Daon is not your father.
Jaemin tripped himself up by subconsciously treating Daon like his toy (his favorite for sure, but still - a toy). I liked Soohyun but he lost me entirely when he slapped him (KNOWING that Jaemin was playing them all like a fiddle). And Seunghyun, of course he’s cute and endearing, but the switchup midway where he started to want more and more from Daon was crazy when Daon was VERY clear as to what he could give him from the beginning.
Out of all of them I sympathize most with the MC. He has worked his ass off his whole fucking life. He was grateful to all the help he was given and given his habits, it seems like he pays it forward (like taking the time to teach his coworker excel and also still helping his family even though he has conflicting feelings towards his weird ass parents). The ending was perfect to such a tangle of life threads. I know he’s fictional lol but if he actually existed I’d wish him peace and soft, happy moments. Dude just wanted to live, love, and be loved.
