oop, i’m shocked by the comment section. i thought you guys would love this book. i really enjoyed the story! the most interesting aspect of this book is the political & socioeconomic undertones of the setting along with kim shin’s character arc. i find him intriguing bc he comes across morally grey (or he swings between chaotic good and evil) as the plot develops. if you’re into tropes where the mmc comes across as good to the protagonist, but is secretly cruel/mean to everyone else, i would definitely recommend this book. it establishes a compelling story about complex characters whose morals are questionable & a great psychoanalysis on our/their philosophies. :3
