Exactlyyy, a good author is able to take small scenes like that to paint a bigger picture, we really don’t need a whole chapter of gang rape to know how it feels, we can infer it ourselves. It was framed beautifully and really stuck the point w/o all the unnecessary nonsense. I wish more authors would do it honestly, like the audience isn’t/shouldnt be stupid to not understand the weight of the action. Every scene in this manhwa has meaning and I adore it.

But to the meat of the episode, Brett’s abduction :(( my heart hurts for him sm like did he already think of this 10 steps ahead of everyone yeah but he had to endure sm and he was enjoying himself just a few hours earlier like stoppp idk if they went full way on Brett or just oral but either way this shits tragic. But personally whenever he displays this kind of behavior it makes me appreciate his and Hayden’s relationship/scenes a lot more like he’s going through the TRENCHES.
Also I’ve been catching a lot of eye symbolism/motifs in this season. Really emphasizing Alexander’s claim of Brett’s little fucking beady ass eyes looking down on people. Pretty interested how this develops. What a chapter man.
Mentioned this in another comment, but I ADORE the author for not showing the rape scene with Brett. Many MANY bl authors would’ve def drawn it for some sort of fucked up “fan service” but seuseu (the author) tastefully choose not to. Love them. Like she knows tastefully when it’s necessary to show and not, which I love espc in a fucked up psychological work like this. More “dark” BLs need to take a page from seuseu, this should be the standard
