wait sorry lol i thought u were talking abt something else, im assuming they both saw the "monsters" because they both have a fear of scary things and they just happened to know about the same horror novel
Yea I had an idea it was that ! Maybe it was shared hallucinations from the trauma they have of being scared of monsters.
