In the lore, it says Seth and Horus the Elder were brothers in the past and Seth killed him. Fans believe HTE was born on the 4th day, same as Seth. We've been introduced to HTE in the cave with Nephthys of that mural of the ancient god of misfortune who stole something and died. It was 11 updates ago In chapter 96 of S2 and the end.
After HTE died, the hieroglyphs mojito put say that Isis took his ashes and put them in her womb, so when she conceived, she conceived the Horus of the present timeless.
The hieroglyphs also say that Seth will find out the secret Horus is keeping and will gouge his eyes out, finally he will leave.
Horus will go back and be about to marry Hathor but something will happen that will prevent the marriage, (fans are hoping for a Shrek like wedding lol).
The crazy thing also, is that no one remembers Horus. We don't know why. Fans suspect that the four or perhaps Isis, Seth, and Nephthys ascended and forgot about HTE after.
If you see in the flashbacks, every time we see Seth he looks empty imo. I feel it's because he is missing internally, his other half (Horus.) I'm sure when they find Thoth's temple on the moon, Seth will find out the truth of the past.
My guess also is that Seth will find out about Nephthys when they go back into chaos/the cave due to the one pyramid/throne being there that Seth saw to find the next jewel.
It's gonna get very angsty! The story is just setting up plot right now!
It's fascinating to know humans worship deities for things that cannot be explained and cannot simply be a mere coincidence such as the sun and earth being that perfect distance.
I wanted to add that we know Isis is aware of the possibility of putting a god in them.
In the most recent raws, Isis told Nephthys that they need to put Anubis (a god) in his mother to stabilize them.
And from the lore, knowing Isis did that for her brother HTE, she bring the god of magic can do that without being his mother.
Makes me wonder if that's why Ra looked pregnant at the trial at the end of S1. Maybe she's been consuming gods.
Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't Ra in real mythology butt heads with Horus or something. The eye thing is a real thing, I know that for sure. But there's the eye of Ra and the eye of Horus in real mythology. So my guess is Ra in this story is consuming gods or something trying to stay in power and HTE saw her and stole her eye! Idk...
