coincidentally here rn bc of tiktok but i read this 2 years ago and actually wrote a fairly long review of it back then it seems. can confidently tell you it does not get better! personally i hate leaving things unfinished especially this close to the end so i personally would (and did) read the rest of the chapters too but its also probably a waste of your time since it does not get better
By chapter 53/54 the ML confesses everything he did. To be fair, I’m at least glad he never physically harmed anyone for the whole manipulation stuff. Only dude he beat was his own crazy ex because he stalked and hurt the MC. And I appreciate he didn’t instigate him to like attack the MC so he’d fall for him more, the ex attacked him all on his own.
im on chapter 40 sumn rn and i actually hate the ml so much, his thoughts gave me whiplash fr. is there a redemption arc for him or is this just how hes gonna be like the whole time? (￣∇￣")
