Just actually finished this for the first time, the last time I read till before he fully gained the monarch’s powers. It was a great story in the beginning, but towards the part where he got the monarch’s powers it felt like everything he did to reach that point was pointless. I just don’t understand the ending or even know why the author would choose to end it that way, because even though he changed the time, he still remembers all the pain he went through, so it just doesn’t make sense. I can understand him wanting a normal life, but then he could’ve just stayed in the illusion dimension the shadow monarch gave him. Love live the author of this story. ( ̄へ ̄)
