i actually really love this story because of how it shows both sides of a toxic relationship, especially the side of the one getting manipulated,,, obviously i’m not excusing jeongwon’s actions but with the way the story is going, you can tell it’ll probably build up to inhwee apologizing and forgiving jeongwon because jeangwon will most likely make him feel guilty about considering leaving him,,, if that makes sense,, i also love how the author captures the feeling of fear from inhwee whenever he’s worried that he’s done something to upset jeongwon;; all in all, i like how the author captures the toxic relationship itself

i also hope this doesn’t end up being a story where jeongwon gets excused for his actions because he doesn’t know what to feel (if that makes sense)

agreed. most people's comments that i read they usually gloss over the nuance and just say stuff like "bad male lead," when obviously the author is trying to convey the intercomplexities. You'd have to ask yourself, how did we get here? When the premise of the manga was so absurd. "I'll show you how I kiss girls," but instead of them coming clean because they're both silly or whatever, it shows what type of manipulative, self conscience, insecure people would go within that line of thinking. I really like it.
