I was really happy in the previous chapter cause pink hair dude got it exactly right!! I thought it was gonna lead up to dans grandmother dying and a time skip. like I know he's depressed but the entire time the depression scene were happening I was like he needs a friend he can yap to and figure this shit out. he's spiraling on hsi own and seriously needs someone aorund,,, I ahte that this author refuses to give him anyone but horse face asshole. like seriously I get why Dans going for him is that the only thing good in his memories is fuck face. but I just wish he had relied on someone else
I was kinda also hoping for friendship arc between Dan and side couple. like I think they would've been a great place for Dan to have talked about things and get some closure and maybe also shake himself out of the stupid stalkholm syndrome
