In the previous chapters, the angels said that Mc is actually the idol’s brother who they saved when he was young which didn't make sense because, in the first chapter, we see that Mc is a doppelganger so turns out that the brother went to the devil company so they can put his soul is a doppelganger and he lost his memory in the process
