I think it’s cause she doesn’t really have romantic interest in him all that much. While she has shown affection after his confession and has blushed a few times it doesn’t feel like she has as strong of feelings for him as he does for her. Idk if it’s because she feels disconnected from the world, doesn’t see him as anything but her brother, or whatever. They are both strange individuals. Maybe the next chapter will focus more on her true feelings of the matter, right now she only seems focused on keeping him in check from what I can understand.
Or the author is into her calling him that. Idk
In the novel and even here is shown that she loves him truly and she didn't stop him from killing those people because she cared for them but purely out of concern for her "brother"( yes she has admitted to not being truly a good person). In fact at first she was trying to justify the things she was feeling for him as the og Mai's feelings and not her own(they were her own feelings but she didn't want to eccept it). If you remember the beginning you have read about how even though she had no conscience that she had possessed the og Mai's body her behavior was different and even appearance but she still loved her brother either way.
Ooooo, ya I never read the novel. I kind of assumed her affection was a weird mix of sibling love and crush since I just didn’t see her behaving super attracted outwardly. Also might be because I’m comparing how she’s acting to the brother since he has very obvious and intense feelings.
She is harder for me to read compared to him.
Thanks for informing me!
she transmigrated there and feels a disconnect already to them being legal siblings. they got together, albeit super rushed and lacked intensity, but why the fuck does she keep referring to him and brother or oni-chan bro enough is enough!!
