YES! EXACTLY! The important part is for JJK to understand what he’s done and what he needs to do to get Dan back, properly! Mingwa said that there would only be 2 seasons and even if it was 4 seasons, I agree with you, I still wouldn’t want 20 or even 10 chapters of them being apart, I much prefer the time lapse of them meeting each other again to be less than 3 months and not 3-4 years like it was in DCS. There could still be a chasing arc tho. JJK saves Dan but Dan asks for him to leave him alone but JJK won’t, he’ll keep showing up, begging, pleading, showing Dan that he’s a changed man or he’ll see that Dan has spiraled really bad and he’ll be his pillar of strength, physically, mentally, emotionally, financially and helps bring back his light and precious smile. I have hope doe them
Omg yesss. Chasing arc is a chasing arc if Dan actually got his shit together and live a happy life.
But Dan is too depressed and miserable. He needs Jaekyung and Jaekyung finally realises he needs Dan. Does he know why he needs Dan is another issue
This! I’ve seen so many people since the start of the manhwa blaming everything on the poor granny, wishing for her to die asaps so that “Dan can be free” or so “the story can finally progress”. People just don’t realize that 1, granny sacrificed her whole life for Dan so Dan returning the favor now is the minimum 2, if she dies it will end and destroy Dan. She isn’t even dead yet and he’s already spiraling like crazy, she can’t die, at least not yet. Dan needs grandma AND JJK, and I have faith that JJK will pull his shit together and become a better man for Dan. He won’t have a personality switch and all of a sudden become super romantic and whipped but he will be a sweet service pup for Dan and an aggressive black wolf to everyone else ^^
I know a lot of ppl were looking forward to a chasing arc, but I'm glad to see Jaekyung show up so soon. I've never been a fan of chasing arcs because I feel like it's too much of a waste of time an unecessary angst. Plus. Then it starts to feel like those miscommunication tropes and I just get tired like "Ugh, can they just meet up already and resolve things?" Like, I'm glad the author did not drag this out too long and we didn't have Dan acting miserable for 20 more chapters when all he wants to do is be with Jaekyung and then have Jaekyung running up and down the map for him. The most important part to me is not so much the chasing, but the fact that Jaekyung now understands what it means to lose Kim Dan. I don't really care to see him grovel, I just want to see him treating Kim Dan right.
