Yeah but I wasn’t expecting privacy so idk where they got that from. Having the feature to turn replies off and on is different from privacy. Posting means anyone can see it, and I didn’t complain about someone seeing it. It’s just the replies being on/off.
GENUINELY this idea shouldn’t hurt anyone.
Those who want to do it, are able to.
Those who don’t want to, there’s the on replies option.
I don’t mean the good kind of arguments but arguing with a brick wall of stupidity is annoying, and when some feel the NEED to respond, it can be annoying as well (part of OCD, ofc not everyone has it).
And as much as I’d like to not respond to stupid arguments, my brain feels the extreme need to. And nor do I have money to “treat” it.
I honestly don’t see how having this feature would hurt those who don’t want it. In fact I think it would help cease pages of argument comments.
Mangago should implement a feature in posts, where the OP can set it to “No Replies”, and only viewable. The likes and dislikes can still be visible.
