I suppose because back then most of us were new to BL/YAOI world which was why we thought this was a masterpiece back then, however after reading so many other manga/manhwa and of course maturing more we soon realised this isn’t a masterpiece we once thought.

Nah I disagree with you , ( no being rude) the moment you compared it with today's BL you went in wrong way "however after reading so many other manga/manhwa and of course maturing more we soon realised this isn’t a masterpiece" it not because of this that made you thought that but more specifically you got to read more smut and graphics with spicy plot BL that made you think so back then the author won best BL award with killing stalking author. You won't know how bl till 2017 completely censored were so beautiful and more focused on characters and dialogues as so is this one.

I can name you so MANY BEAUTIFUL MANHWA/MANGA that there’s absolutely no smut in them, YET THEY WERE AND ARE AMAZING, for example, “False Memories” “Lost in the Cloud” “19 Days” “Equipoise” “Here U are” “Love Tractor” “Hessu in class 2” “Never Understand” “Robber x Lover” “When the killer falls in love” and so on… thank you for not being rude, however it’s not about the smut
Also IK that the killing stalking author is won the best BL award, however it wasn’t my cup of tea I guess it’s about however everyone have different opinions
Bro when did I said you are obsessed with smut and no you don't need to prove me with those titles I have read those myself (I have been into bls since 2005 ) it just you called it "not a masterpiece" while comparing that's felt a bit harsh when this story was unique plus the plot was generally good ( I understand if you hate a character or few things about the plot but if you see it for 2016 when this was ongoing the author really did a good job )
I didn’t compare it to other stuff it’s just you assuming I didn’t like the plot just because it didn’t contain any smut? That’s why I mentioned some stuff without any smut, Also yes I already mentioned that this was a good read BACK THEN, but I don’t see it being interesting anymore unfortunately! However as I already mentioned yes this was nice to read back then :)
