it's honestly really fun at the beginning and even gets deeper into the definition of heroes and villains with a very sweet mc but the ml is honestly detrimental to the series because of what he stands for and how he goes on with it and it feels like the writer doesn't want us to see him as a toxic influence to the mc despite making him quite unlikable (not in an abusive way, but more so his mentality)
lmao I legit dropped it then too ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ nothing pisses me off more than a "we can change it from within" arc.
And you're right, the second ml basically made the ml feel like an interloper. Legit felt gaslighted when the writer kept pushing the blond lmao, like are two people writing this or do you think we will forgive just anything????? they even tried to salvage it with getting the ml to meet her granny but it kinda falls flat when your whole support system from granny to best friend is fully acab but you're trying to make your ml "one of the good ones".
I recently read a few of the newer chapters to see if it finally but it just pissed me off even more

they find out the mc is black dog put her to court, make a show out of it and the so called lover of her granny sentences her to death (but no it's not really death cause he didn't have the stomach for it, oh poor hero so sad) She's now locked up in a dungeon where they experiment on villains. Now the ml has delusions of pretending to be black dog
I'll keep an eye on this one, I refuse to put much hope in this at the start like I did pure villain only for it to betray me
