If I may... the art is incredible and the story is really really good. It's one of my personal favorites. There's a lot of triggering events in the story of different kinds. I think the author uses them well though. It's a story that focuses on the long term effects of the things the characters have experienced. None of it is for shock value or cheap smut. Admittedly, the first 20+ chapters can be a difficult read, but worth pushing through if you can handle reading it. The biggest issues people have are the main two couples. The pending third couple has is own stigma, but it's really the main two. Trying to minimize spoilers.... In the second couple, the seme harmed the uke, but there are genuine exterminating circumstances to it. Because of this incident, there's this long running misunderstanding between them and the seme does do some questionable things. Some are against the uke forgiving the seme. It's a grey area of whether the seme is an unforgivable monster or if he's a person who has made mistakes because of his own trauma and upbringing. There's also a question of whether or not the uke has any accountability with some of the things that have happened. The main couple has people in contention because a difference in translation. It was said the uke had the mentality of a ten year old in the fan translation versus the official which says the uke's behavior and speech was stunted to that of a 10 year old. Because of this, the seme is seen by some as a pedo for eventually getting with the adult uke as they believe he is mentally a child. But again, this isn't the case. Regardless, with this misunderstanding and the uke's backstory, some people feel their relationship shouldn't have started when it did.

@Puppyboy Agend-er (who apparently blocked me?? lmfao) If the side couple's "dynamics" has sexual assault and rape apologist fans, OP has extremely legitimate reasons to lose their mood and that has nothing to do with "not being interested" enough, what a freakish thing to say honestly. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜 I love this story but the themes are EXTREMELY triggering for both couples to be completely honest. Someone debating on reading should know that. Don't shame someone because you like edgy shit lol

@Stype lol
Yeah, I had you blocked 'cause you probably said something dumb to me back when I had my previous username on here lol
And I wasn't shaming them for not liking noncon, I was saying that the person who took time out of their day to graciously explain the story wasted it on OP 'cause they were never interested in reading this series in the first place. I've seen it too many times on this site, and others, where people fake interest in something controversial only to be like "ew, so it's gross just like I thought."
It's not my fault they can't handle plot deeper than the shallow end of a kiddy pool. This whole series is about murder, kidnapping, coup d'état, incest in the royal family, rape, trauma and revenge. It literally starts off with Louis being held captive and raped by his delusional kidnapper. If that wasn't a solid indicator for how this series was gonna pan out then I don't know what sort of magical answer OP was looking for.
I was thinking about reading this bc the art looks good... But there's war going on here eh
Now I'm rethinking whether or not to read this
