I don't like the aunt actually because if you had a daughter in law for years and never paid attention to her but Ur nephew gf comes back and Ur pampering her so much I get the misunderstanding part but obviously Ur daughter in law is gonna fell threatened. And she doesn't even know her daughter in law has an incurable dises and is dying and from the monologue she most probably doesn't even care about her son. And from the daughter in law view she's not exactly wrong to think about it coming from a time where nobels can't marry commoners and old values. She wasn't rude the aunt just assumed she's gonna throw the water when she was clearly drinking it and obviously that misunderstanding forced her to be in a worse situation than she already was in. And when the princess asked her for revenge she didn't want to do that she only aggred for her family. If she had her mother in law's support like the FL has she wouldn't be in such a shitty situation .
