jake gambled his job, cover, life, and secrecy for his wife… i literally can’t think of a better ml who truly sacrificed everything for a partner. it’s insane how well written this story is, because jake’s toxicity and mystery matched his actions- it wasn’t for show!!
he really did have deep shit going on, and the reveal didn’t disappoint. then knowing how calculating, cold, and heartless he is; he STILL put his heart in shin’s hands. i couldn’t think of two better soulmates for each other
