Ideally there’s no real “safe” way to choke someone either way you’re still restricting air and causing oxygen and blood restriction to the brain. I don’t necessarily think the artist would exactly study on how to choke someone properly. I do definitely agree that if someone is going to participate in that type of act they should 100% apply light pressure!
Did you miss the part where I said to apply
"Light pressure " ??
If someone asks to be choked during sex, they’re not asking you to cut off their air or hurt them, they want the illusion of control and intensity. The key is to avoid applying real pressure. Your weight and the placement of your hand create the sensation they’re looking for without putting them in danger.
They want you to dominate them NOT actually end up killing them.(dummies seem to think dominance means causing pain)
From the other person's POV (the one who wants to choke their partner)
The act is less about harm and more about control, intensity and connection. It's like a way to feel dominant while building trust and intimacy while knowing your their partner is vulnerable yet safe in their hands. The thrill honestly comes from the primal intimate edge it adds but also a deep sense of responsibility to make sure their partner feels secure and doesn't fear for their life throughout the experience.
You don’t need to "study" to know how to have sex darling.
Just think, “How would I feel if I were in my partner’s position? Would I enjoy this?” With that mindset, you can recreate those feelings in your writing or during the act. Honestly, some authors write scenes where it’s clear they know what they’re talking about, while others make you wonder if they’ve even held hands before.
Authors shouldn’t explore topics like BDSM unless they’ve either experienced it themselves or talked to someone who has. Without that understanding, it risks coming across as unrealistic or even harmful. It’s important to respect the topic and portray it accurately, especially when it involves trust, consent, and safety.
This white hair dude definitely would have killed him with how he was choking him.To safely do choking during sex, he should apply light pressure to the sides of the neck not the windpipe. I don't know if the author drew it intentionally but the way he choked him was not safe AT ALL. He held his fucking trachea
Applying pressure to the trachea can block airflow, leading to suffocation. The larynx is located at the top of the trachea, and is an extremely sensitive area. significant pressure in this region is literally life-threatening so this fucker is playing with his life
