Ml is acting like this because he knows his boss is inside the idol's body hence ml's feelings are towards the soul, not the body. Before the crash, they've known and was beside each other's side for years. U pointing out the gap of their proximity after the "ml knows its impossible but his boss' soul is in that body" realization doesnt compare to the years they were together before. If u know a person for 80% his life, months of separation dont remove feelings unless its negative. Ml doesnt have negative feelings for his boss.

Mc isn't tied negatively to the gangster world since the ml solved all his debts and such WAYYYYYYYYY BACK EARLIER chapters. Without this debt and whatnot, what could possible make the two of them interact? Besides some loose strings here and there, there's no way for them to interact at least every other chapter. Even if the work the mc has is tied to the ml's connections, its not easy to just barge in. I dont think you're understanding the gap between them this early seasons. They barely even spoke to each other b4 the end and all of a sudden they're madly in love w each other?!? We didn't even delve that far into the plotline bout the original owner of the mcs body and what he went through. I get that they can't see each other every chapter but 62 FUCKING CHAPTERS WITH NO INTERACTION!?! And then they see each other and all of a sudden they're in love?!? Since when?!? I'm not saying the manhwa was bad what I'm saying is that we spent most this manhwa doing side quests that the main plot just got lost

The romance just feels so out of place and random...the mc and ml haven't spoken to each other in like 30 chaps b4 this and they hadn't seen each other in person in like 60. Them meeting and the ml having all these strong feelings for him just feels so random rn.
