As a character, Mia is more fleshed out, more believable. Philia less so. Phila went asking with everything, even when those things were harming her. Mia is fighting back with all her might. So I'm more attached to Mia, yes.

I didn't even say I disliked Phillia though, I just said I liked Mia more. At what point does me saying I liked another character more than the main character make me comparable to the prince?

Diminished personality and sense of self are symptoms of abuse. You’re looking at the result of her environment, totally missing her state of mind. I like Mia, but Philia is more interesting and has more room for character growth.
