Ok but-

Interestingly enough, I like the development. Cause to make it clear, MC wanted to end the bond from the start, the only thing holding him back was the high cost (in terms of money and health risk) since he could not afford on his own the better surgery. However, forgetting the father's involvement, MC was suffering bc the ML used the bond to manipulate MC. In the first few chapters, the ML forced the MC to go into heat. Now without the bond, the ML HAS to rebuild the relationship if he wants another chance, not rely on the bond to tie the MC. Further, their relationship will be based on actual feelings if they do get back together.

Honestly, I feel like I'm the only one who is excited to see what happens lol

I'm not excited but I do hope the story goes as you expect it to. Might make it slightly more worthwhile.

Yes, I do like the snip plot since the MC wanted to get away from the relationship but I dont understand just one thing, how would he afford his son medicationa and treatement ?

Well it seems that all his salary (from working at his friend’s family's restaurant) went to his son's treatment. And my assumption, based on the fact that only recently did his son start having symptoms, is that any savings he had (for the surgery or not) would have also been used for his son's treatment.
