But what if the reason MC's mom got k.o'd was bc she was part of an experiment done by the agency while she was pregnant, hence MC having one purple eye, and the reason they k.o'd her was because she learned to love her baby and tried to hide MC from them.
While ML was experimented as a toddler/child so both his eyes are purple, but he escaped the facility and got discovered into the world of crime.
And the reason why ML kinda "feels" for MC is bc they have a connection coming from a certain gene in their body that makes them "care" for one another bc of the experimentz.
