I don't really vibe with teacher x student, but I read this for Nayuta-sensei.... and honestly I was pleasantly surprised. Narumi is as responsible as one can be in this kind of trope, I'd say, so while it's still morally questionable to date someone who was previously your student at least in this case there were no *other* lines crossed. I've seen their age difference in couples around uni, so that wasn't much of a problem ig, and they ended up waiting a whole year before taking ""the next step"" in their relationship.
So yeah, still has a questionable trope imo, but the author writes it in a really engaging way and the characters are at least self aware... so it was a nice read overall
