it's actually a myth that blood choking is safer than regular choking!

TL;DR don't do breath play unless you also know CPR. also ysk that consent is not a legal defense to manslaughter, so also don't do breath play unless you're prepared for potential jail time.
to make sure that you're safely choking your partner, don't press on the middle! you're cutting their air source (if you're freaky af, go ahead lol). another safer way to choke is to press on the sides of the neck! you're technically limiting their blood supply which also causes lightheadedness while NOT cutting their air supply. tbh it all boils down to preferences, but make sure to communicate about it properly and create a safe word!
