Everyone has been feeling so sorry and bad for TJ because he sold the house he built for Ian but no TJ stans want to face the real truth. First of all, he built a beautiful house, but it’s not Ian’s taste at all, he’s never wanted a huge mansion on that kind of land, the house was completely in TJ’s taste, so he really built that house for himself. And now in this chapter we found out the real reason why he sold the house. He didn’t sell it for Ian, he sold it because of Ian. He said that Jason had promised to build them all a house so they could “live together” but when he got married he had to break that promise. Jason chose his wife over the boys and the organization and then he got sick and died. “I don’t need the house anymore”. Meaning, he’s doing the opposite of what Jason did! Jason chose love and withdrew from the organization.
