first of all, big fan of your description of characters, and also i agree, it’s realistic to take care of a friend being bullied before worrying about your crush, but it’s really just the fact that he acts a bit clueless and confused when his crush gets mad at him (avoiding the fact that his crush is probably mentally insane for getting mad at him for standing up for his friend but wtvr) after mc brushes him off for prioritizing the other one. (sorry still dk anyone’s name)
