I low-key think it's partially his fault for the miscarriage. Not sure whether they will be including it in the webtoon but... The doctor advised them not to have sex because FL's body was already weak in the first place but Bjorn obviously ignored that. The miscarriage happened shortly right after that.
Even though he knew (the doctor told him) that FL's body was too weak to have a baby, he barely spent time with her at all. Instead he was always outside, which includes having a meeting outside.
It's not wrong to be excited over a baby, but it's awful to not accompany your wife. I think, as a woman, if my partner was never there for me it becomes worse when they are also not there for me when I'm on the verge of death.
During the miscarriage there was a possibility that she would die. ML wasn't there to make a quick decision, prolonging her torture during the procedure cause there was no permission by the ML.

Regardless of his trauma, it doesn't excuse a person's deeds. If a criminal has trauma, does it excuse his actions? I'm afraid not, cause one's actions is one's responsibility the moment you're an adult.
