There is no Rape

To all the people who says hosik is drunk rape thats not true. He is actually in love with sunbae too. Hosik is scared to admit it because they are two guys. The night they slept together he ask hosik at every turn what he wanted to do. Hosik wanted to do it with him and the alcohol gave him the courage. Sunbae saw his feelings and fear and help encourage him to accept his own feelings towards sunbae. Not every one likes and understands their same sex attraction at first. I still don't see how people read it and not unstood they had mutual feelings. The people who saw it as rape are the same people preventing people like hosik from properly accepting themselves for the way they were born.

He was so drunk he blacked out: he was NOT in ANY CONDITION to consent to ANYTHING, much less sex
And do you know what's even worse here? Sunbae made sure Hosik would drink until he dropped (he gave him a full glass of soju and then reordered more drinks - if you're familiar with how this works in South Korea, it means Hosik HAD TO drink) while he never drunk a single drop of alcohol, making sure his mind would be perfectly clear for the night to come and the rape - which he therefore totally planned, by the way. He's a manipulative pos and if you couldn't see that while reading the first 20 chapters then I suggest reading more about consent under the influence, gas lighting, and other ways a person can manipulate another into a long-term toxic relationship

    1. What you consider toxic the person in the relationship might not.
    2. His head was clear enough because the alcohol gave him like the many others who drink the loose inhibitions to be free without criticism.
    3. When you use the term gaslighting you are in turn the main culprit who is gaslighting.
    4. It is a fictional story, read it or not but don't compare it to real life unless you live the exact circumstances.

??? You're very delusional but anyway what I meant to say, mainly, was that if you didn't see the signs in this story, you may not recognise them in real life but I think trying to talk here is like pissing in a violin (as the French say)

LoL, yeah because I believe in leaving people alone. What ever they choose for their life is their own choices. You make your own bed to lie in. To each its own, look at his best friends reaction to Hosik's situation thats says everything about how he understood Hosik. Anyway Its a fictional story so you don't have to go pissing in a violin.

And that's how people are left in relationships with toxic and violent people...
I was just saying, everyone's entitled to like whatever they like (as long as they're not harming other people that way) but one shouldn't lie to oneself about what one's reading (and this story has rape and a toxic and manipulative relationship in it)
It's a saying that has a meaning similar to "words falling onto deaf ears", I wouldn't go piss in a violin irl (/TДT)/

Yes I will admit other people's toxic relationships are not my business. As far as the story it was always between hosik and the sunbae. In real life it is only between the people in the relationship. In the most polite way I can put it, is to mind your own business. If that person ask for your help, you can help. If they do not the results are the results even if it ends in their death. I saw nothing that would cause me to criticize Hosik love even if I felt how they started to date questionable, but that would only be by my standards not his. I have seen a many disfunctional relationships from family and friends, I have injected my opinion on how they were being mistreated and indeed were in a toxic relationship only to be rebuked. Some have ended in marriages and some have ended in death. My input rarely changed the outcome permanently. Only a temporary obstruction to a train that was already on a determined course. As I have gotten older I began to understand one fundamental thing it is only my point of view I am viewing different people's relationships from, that led me to mind my own business no matter the consequences.

you are retarded if you believe you can't be raped by someone you love. hosik was raped, just accept it and move on. you can still like the story without going blue in the face trying to excuse the rape
