Now that you explained that, it actually makes sense! If your theory is right, the dokkaebi inside that guy probably realized that and trying to take his power back
i have a theory that the man with red eyes who appeared on ch. 0 might be the dokkaebi that was possessing dohan (because his mom was sure that a dokkaebi was possessing dohan) and the fact that he was mentioned to be a dokkaebi. and when we first saw dohan, he was wearing a mask and saying something that involved hide and seek then saying something that was "the seeker is seeking"(?) and that the dokkaebi on ch. 0 was also talking about hide and seek with his teacher/master and counting up to 100 and at the end of ch. 0 he said that hes gonna start seeking(?)
theres potential that mcs grandfather might be the teacher/master of the dokkaebi considering that they share the same blood and that when dohan said that "the seeker is seeking/i found you"(?) i think it was meant for mcs grandfather because they have the same blood
just a theory though...this manhwas plot is deeper than i thought, ill cook up another theory if theres more clues/lore shown in the story (=・ω・=)
