They are saying the dead BF is Editor K so they could frame her dad for being the boss who meddled in everyone's business and exposed them. This way the big shots after Editor K will think he was just a tool used by her dad and her dad will become their target. Then Jiwon gets away very much scot free for the sh!t he pulled bc Editor K is essentially dead and his boss, aka her dad, who orchestrated everything will get hunted. Thus, she will get her revenge and Zeo will clear out Jiwon's mess for Rawon.
