Long term gamer explanation of the rules

Honestly as a long-time game player, the rules make sense ! (A reply to a comment but ill be posting it so people will understand better)

#1) No personal relationships - This is usually said but not really implemented well 100% of the time, more often than not it's just to avoid changing of the Guild's dynamics. One wrong relationship/break up between 2 people can divide a guild into fractions and ruin the guild and e/o's relationships

ik it might sound stupid but just imagine being in a big friend group where 2 ppl get together and then break up.... It becomes a "if you're not with me, you're against me". And groups in games like this tend to be VERY competitive, irl there are games where guild war matches give prizes irl and in game lololol do NOT underestimate game obsessed people

#2) No endearments - just like in illusion, there are things called game marriage that sometimes ruins an irl marriage/relationship LOL even if it's playful! This actually ties in with #1. I don't really think I have to elaborate but basically you can't really trust what people say. If a lover they have never mentioned sees it or takes it the wrong way, that member can leave the guild. If not, the lover can post about it and damage the guild's reputation TT guild's tend to be a very big thing that people take pride in, think of it as like your clan in game LOL it would hurt and suck if people start talking shit about your guild bcos of two careless people

#3) No other games - this tends to be a joke LOL but sometimes it does happen because of the tendency of players moving to a different game. Nothing wrong with that! It would just be really sad to see someone go yk. And sometimes games have "opponents" lol (imagine Overwatch vs Valorant, Genshin vs Wuwa, LOL vs DOTA) it's nothing serious but it would just be appreciated if you focused on your primary game since your dailies/progress helps the guild grow!

NOTE: Guilds tend to say it outright whether or not they are casual friendly. So it's not really a big deal LOL most guild rules are bendable as long as you have good relationships with your guild members! But for #1 tho, I still think it's really sad even as a secret esp when someone has to leave and nobody knows why (usually bcos of a break up within the group).
