Not a saint, but yeah it’s a difference between neglectful and neglectful&abusive.
OH MY GOD, it would’ve been so good if she run away for years. Why didn’t they do it? Why did she have to be so nice and forgiving? I hate it.
WAIT, HE ACTUALLY KILLED HER BEFORE? WHAT THE FUCK? I DIDNT KNOW THAT. It’s been so long since I’ve read it. Why the fuck did he kill her? Wow. Now I do actually hate him. Why the actual fuck did FL let him off so easily????
But Ijekiel being end game would be wrong too, wasn’t she mentally an adult? I’m actually glad they didn’t put any romance in the webtoon. I didn’t really want her with Lucas either, tho most shipped them hard
Honestly, it was one of my first manhwas, now knowing all of this I don’t think I would’ve read it if I found it now. I became a lot less tolerant to a lot of things in webtoons than when I first started. There’s been a few that had also irredeemable fathers (multiple previous deaths due to neglect, or original body owner dying due to neglect, most never properly addressed either) and I just straight up dropped them.
I don't hate the Emperor, he might suck for 9 years before Philomel changed but I believe it's redeemable and completely understandable if she forgive him and give him a chance. Also iirc, the book isn't a prophecy or the future. It's a fanfic written by the author (which is the Princess) who for some reasons hated Philomel so much so she made the FL suffer in that book.
The child custody between the Emperor and the Magic Tower Master for Phil will be solved if they just kiss each other lmaooo
