I loved the movie version of this story as well as the manga one. One thing that I personally think is that kame's and asa's friendship doesn't feel as intimate as in the anime, even tho Asa does a takes a lot of kame's fault on herself. But regardless of that I still love it! Hope the last couple of chapters come out
